Valerie, I have included Michael Power in the 1993 list of Fethard Deaths on the site. Prospect is about two miles outside Fethard. I will see if I have any further information on our files here. The following is 'Treacy' information I received last year:

It is believed that this Denis was either father or grandfather to the famous Sean Treacy (Sinn Fein), more research is needed.

Do you have any information about siblings for Eamon Treacy??
My Treacy ancestors came from Tipp. and I have Dennis, son of William, born 1780, Glenbreedy, Tipp.
Our line came to Australia in the mid 1800's.
Is it possible there is a connection??
