I am interested to hear from anyone who maybe researching the names of Napier or Napper from Fethard. My great great great grandfather William Napier/Napper (b) c. 1788 died: 1849 Fethard, married Frances Atkinson, I don't know where or when. They had 7 children William (James) 1834, Frances Louison 1833 (went to USA with mother, Mary 1836, Mary Jane 1841, Mellsina 1844, Susan Elizabeth 1847/1848, one deceased Mary Jane 1839/1839. William (James) came to Australia with wife Elizabeth Ogle from Meath. William was a policeman in Mullingar, Ireland before comeing to Australia in 1864. Anyone knowing of a Napier/Napper family in Fethard or near by I would love to hear from, I know there were other families of this name besides this one, some which went to USA.....


Hello yes my great great great great great grandfather is william james napier. OMG and yes he married Frances atkinson. I have a family tree starting at his parents. Wow this is amazing thank you for posting this. :)
