Since Killusty staged the first working hunter class to be held at a show in this country some thirty years ago, the working hunter division has become one of the most popular classes. There were large entries in both rings with courses designed by Tony Ennis. The Financial Clarity Novice Working Hunter Pony Championship was won by Des Byrne's Margueritte Dteam with reserve going to Michael Philips's Ballyvaden Herewegoagain. The Londis Foodstore Starter Stake Championship was then judged in this ring with Claire Crawford's Ardfry Sarabi with reserve going to Martha McNamara's Warleigh Wishful Thinking.

In the second working hunter ring the Performance classes were going ahead with Claire Crawford's Ardfry Sarabi prevailing over Anne Stanley's Bob Marley. The Green Working Hunter class designed to start novice riders and ponies to the Working Hunter ring had massive entries and was won by Hannah Quinn's I'm Spartacus. The Equitation Jumping took place in this ring also with the Championship going to Shannon Nelson on Michelle Nelson's Little Joe.

The Killusty Pony show committee have many people to thank from the gatemen, car parking, stewards, judges, sponsors, catering crew, committee members and indeed the competitors who all make Killusty Pony Show a success.

We had the largest entry of dogs this year at the Killusty Pony Show with over 90 dogs taking part Well done to the Judge Moya Desmond from Grooming 4 Paws, Bannixtown, Fethard who had the hard job of judging this competition. The Fancy Dress was both colourful and varied in topics and well done to the Everard and Ffrench family on winning.
